Mark Ferguson

Mark has coached soccer for 12 years with the Park, Futura and Harambe FC clubs.  He was a co-founder of the Harambe FC soccer club and served as its President. Mark has been a passionate supporter of our hometown teams, including the Missouri Comets professional indoor soccer team, with whom he has been a season ticket holder and invaluable club booster and player-mentor for years.

Mark resides in the Northland with his wife, Margaret, and their two children.  He grew up in Platte County Missouri and is a Park Hill High School graduate.  Mark attended the University of Missouri at Kansas City and obtained a B.A. in Communications/Advertising before going on to earn his Juris Doctorate at the UMKC School of Law.  Upon graduating he served as a state Assistant Prosecutor before opening his own law practice in North Kansas City, which has grown to a five (5) attorney practice.  He also serves as the Municipal Judge for the City of Riverside, Missouri. Mark sits on the Board of Directors of several local non-profit organizations. 

Brian Budzinski

Brian is a successful Kansas City entrepreneur. Currently Brian is the owner of the Kansas City Soccer Dome and co-founder of the Missouri Comets, FC Kansas City & CheckSee. Brian has coached youth teams to 4 Missouri State Cup Championships. Since 2002 Brian has personally coached over 30 players at the youth level that went on to professional careers in addition to the 100+ players participating in college. Brian is proud to be a member of the Kansas City soccer and small business communities. Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, Brian graduated from the University of Missouri, receiving a BS BA. He currently resides in the Northland with his wife Tina and their two children.

Todd Logan

Todd has attained his US National “D” License as well as his NSCAA National Diploma and has over 25 years coaching experience in the Kansas City area. Todd has also earned his US Youth National License as well as the KNVB Dutch Youth National License. Todd is a Liberty, Missouri, native and played soccer in Kansas City as a youth player. He graduated from Liberty High School and attended Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC, where he played soccer all four years. After college, Todd began coaching a team in the Northland and Futura FC was then founded by Todd. Todd was the Director of Futura FC through 2015 when the club then joined FC Kansas City. Todd also has experience coaching in local high schools as well as local colleges: William Jewell, Kansas City Community College, and Metropolitan Community College-Maple Woods. Todd has a love for the game and a love for his players that makes playing for Todd a great experience.

Geoff Stapleton

Geoff has attained his US National “D” License and has over 20 years coaching experience in the Kansas City area.  Geoff resides in Liberty, Missouri, and played soccer at William Jewell University.  Geoff was the Director of Operations for Futura FC for over 15 years. Geoff also has experience coaching in local high schools as well as 4 years at Maple Woods College.  Geoff has developed many players that have gone on to Division I, II and NAIA programs and had great success.  Geoff has built a reputation for being one of the top coaches in the city at developing extremely technical players.  Geoff also started Premier Coaching, offering camps/clinics/private training and other youth programs in 2009 and has seen that business grow immensely over the past 9 years.  Geoff has also been the Director of Coaching at Northland Sports Alliance (NSA) since 2007 and NSA now boasts the top recreational program in the Northland.
